Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery)

Enrollment Requirements
- Admission form is obtained at N5,000.
- Entrance examination is taken for entry into Nursery One upwards
- Creche and pre-nursery do not require entry test, just age.
- Age suitability is also checked along with performance in the diagnostic test, for other classes.
For all children, copy of birth certificate and immunization certificate (for children below five) and also child's previous result (for children who have attended school before) are needed. Originals are for sighting only. Successful candidates will attend a brief familiarization interview along with their parents on a scheduled date.
Expectations
Expect your child to love school, to love learning and most crucially to own his/her learning. In other words, be groomed into an independent learner as well as a life-long learner, which are the wings to soar in life.
Extracurricular activities will cover at the initial phase, STEAM(Technology), Sports Club, Entrepreneurship Club, Performing Arts Club and Reading Club, for a start. For the very young learners we have Young Explorers Club. These are to be introduced for a start. More clubs/extracurricular activities will come up in the future, as needed
Learners will also be exposed to external competitions, as necessary. Boost sessions will be organized in Mathematics and English to stretch each child in those key areas, based on their abilities.

Beyond the market place and strategies, Dorfa International School exists as an institution for promoting and inspiring the young minds on LIMITLESSPOSSIBILITIES. We have set for ourselves a unique mission, thus we have to harness all resources to achieve it.
Also, we are aware that to be the school of our vision, we do not have to aim to beat the competition but to be the competition. This is a tall order, yet, we intend achieve it, and we intend do get it done learner by learner. With this, no child becomes just part of the crowd while with us, every child stands out in order of their potentials. The limitless possibilities view we intend to pass to our learners begin with us as a school!
We are also aware that to be the school of our vision, we require the support of all stakeholders. Therefore in the interest of the young minds we are all out to groom, we stretch our hand of partnership to our parents, trusting that they will stand with us in this task, as a team.
